Higher-order derivatives are the successive derivatives of a function obtained by repeated differentiation. They describe rates of change of increasing order and their applications.
Rolle’s Theorem states that if a function is continuous on a closed interval, differentiable on the open interval, and takes the same value at both ends of the interval, then there exists at least one point where its derivative is zero.
