cosine function
The cosine function \( f(x) = \cos(x) \) assigns to each angle \( x \), expressed in radians, its corresponding cosine value.
The arccosine function is the inverse of the cosine function, assigning each value in the interval \([-1,1]\) its principal angle in \([0,\pi]\).
